Hallicrafters SX-117 The SX-117
tunes nine 500 kHz bands in the 3 to 30 MHz range for coverage of the HF
ham bands in existence at its introduction in 1962. The
triple-conversion receiver uses a tunable IF strip at 6.0 to 6.5 MHz as a
first IF and a 3rd IF at 50.75 kHz for selectivity. It can be paired
