National NTX-30

National prompts most people to think of receivers, though the company produced transceivers and linears during the sideband era. The NTX-30 was one of its few ventures into the pre-war transmitter market. It ran 30 watts out on CW with a pair of PP 6L6s. A companion speech amp/modulator unit was available for phone operation; 1938, $117.
