GLOBE CHAMPION 300 The Globe
Champion 300 featured an internal VFO, ran 300 watts input on CW and 250
on AM with a pair of AX-9909 finals. Its PA, normally in Class C for AM
and CW, could be switched to linear operation for use with an external
exciter on SSB. Frequency coverage was 160-10 meters; $449.00 ($349.00
kit), 1956.
