Gross CW-25 GROSS CW-25 KIT The kit builder received a handsome, pre-punched and drilled, wrinkle-finished (shrivel-finished as Gross put it) chassis, all parts (minus tubes), a crystal holder and one set of coils for $13.95. Extra coils for the 160 through 20 meter bands were 75 cents each (3 required per band). A ’47 crystal oscillator drove a ’46 buffer/doubler which, in turn, drove a pair of ’46 final amplifiers. Jacks in each stage allowed a milliammeter to be inserted for tuning purposes. A companion power supply kit was offered for $8.75; 1934. |
