Signal/One CX-7A The CX7 set new standards for both features and performance when introduced in 1970. The CX7A followed in '71. The transceiver, or Deluxe Intergrated Station as the manufacturer called it, ran QSK on CW, had two VFOs, a built-in keyer as well as SWR & watt meters, and automatic FSK shift. It had great selectivity thanks to 16-pole filtering and exceptional immunity to strong-signal overload. Output power from the 8072 final was in the 300-500 watt PEP class and the price $2195. |
