Columbus Electronics HFC 610 Columbus Electronics of New York City made a 3-tube converter providing improved ten-meter performance and six-meter coverage for HF communications receivers. Its two bands tuned from 27 - 30, and 50 - 54 MHz. A 6K5 mixer followed a 6AK5 RF amp. A 6C4 did oscillator duty. I.F. output was at 8 MHz. The HFC-610 had a self-contained, regulated power supply; $79.50, 1947. |
