Centimeg 432

Centimeg Electronics, El Segundo, California, introduced its crystal-controlled, 432 MHz transmitter in 1959. A 2C39 final amplifier tube provided 10 watts of AM phone power output. The 432 employed 8 MHz crystals in its relatively simple circuit; total tube count was seven. It sold for $184.50 and required a separate power supply.
